Our Role as a Supporting Partner
(FEE), , and ºÚÁÏÉçÇø are leading the Restoration Decade’s Education Challenge 6.1, which aims to embed ecosystem restoration education into formal and non-formal education systems worldwide by 2030. This challenge requires the collective effort of governments, educators, students, and communities worldwide to achieve this goal. ºÚÁÏÉçÇø will work with our partners and networks to support educators working to restore habitats and protect biodiversity and highlight effective practices and perspectives from around the world.

More on the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration
The UN Decade runs from 2021 through 2030, which is also the deadline for the and the timeline scientists have identified as the last chance to prevent catastrophic climate change. Led by the (UNEP) and the (FAO), the UN Decade is building a strong, broad-based global movement to ramp up restoration and put the world on track for a sustainable future. That will include building political momentum for restoration as well as thousands of initiatives on the ground.
